Inspired by Philanthropy Summits organised in the UK and the Nordics, the event is an occasion for philanthropists and impact investors in Italy to meet up and deeply rethink traditional charitable giving models. Its ultimate goal is to help participants move towards more strategic and regenerative practices to deliver impact through capital.
Invitation-only and pitch-free, the intention of the event is to create a community of trust and learning where participants can hear from like-minded peers and be exposed to international innovations and best practices in the field of strategic philanthropy and impact investing.
Objectives .
The event is aimed at supporting philanthropists and impact investors in exploring ways to become more effective and impactful with their giving and investments. It is an occasion to hear from inspirational leaders, engage in interactive workshops led by expert practitioners and peers and consider innovative tools and approaches for strategic philanthropy and systemic investment.
Content .
The event wants to explore the role of philanthropy and impact investing in driving social change. Through a mix of plenary sessions and interactive workshops we will discuss approaches, instruments and practices for deploying polycatalytical capital for public good.
The event will provide an opportunity to discuss topics linked with social justice and climate, democracy and wealth, as well as the use of philanthropy and social finance as tools to change narratives, influence policy and build community and movements.
